Usable either in simultaneous lay and bury or post-lay burial operations, Sandpiper is a jetting burial sled. It uses a jetting stinger with depressor (capable of burial to a depth of 1.5m) which is lowered hydraulically to the required depth. Owing to the positioning of the jetting nozzles, Sandpiper can only move on once the cable has been buried.

Burial verification can be achieved via remote telemetry, and visual verifcation can be recorded onto DVD. Sandpiper is easily transportable and can be deployed worldwide, providing a cost-effective option to diver burial operations, and is one of a fleet of versatile tools owned by Denholm Offshore.
